Why I founded The Home Improvement Network
1) I used to own a business associated with the contracting industry and being in homes
every day, consumers begged me to refer someone they could trust to do all sorts of
projects/repairs around their home, everything from changing an outlet to replacing a roof.
2) We all know the name the Contracting Industry has for itself due to the unlicensed,
uninsured, people out there taking advantage of consumers, but I knew that not everyone
did "bad business". So, I sought out to find the best!
3) The high cost of advertising, with the low return on investment. Outrageous advertising
costs make me sick! How is a small business to make it?
Membership Benefits Include:
~Web presence in the form of three custom built web pages hosted by us (or a link to your
current web site). As of November 2007 we are receiving 4,000-5,000 unique visitors each
month and growing.
~Domain Name (www.yourcompany.com) if you don't already have one.
~Member Directories by consumer request with your name on them. Click for Sample
~Fellow member promotion of you and your company. Every member passes out
business cards to every client they come in contact with, promoting the organization.
~Member Resource Center (password protected) section of the site packed with trainings,
advise, tips, etc.
~Member Center Spotlight in Member Center (one page per member) where you can get
to know your fellow members and they can get to know you.
~We put 10% - 30% into marketing the organization.
~Rolling billboard in the form of our "wrapped" vehicle. Click for picture
~Being associated with other Licensed / Insured businesses.
~Some members report getting as many as 10 leads per week from The Network.

Requirements for Membership:
1. Must operate with good, honest business practices.
2. Must have the proper licenses and insurances associated with your industry.
3. To start the process, fill out our Membership Application online or contact Rick at (304)
290-5597.
4. Must pay membership dues of $30.00 per month or $300 annually.
